Diabetics need to pay particular attention to the care of their feet. Preventative measures can be taken to avoid the risk of pressure to a diabetic foot. However there are orthotic devices that can prevent or cure these problems. Patients should always be fully assessed by a qualified orthotic clinician before being fitted with orthoses.
